98. Pyjamas

Christmas for 5 year old Neville consisted of opening 5 presents (from his grandmother, uncle, and a few of Grandmothers friends), then leaving for the hospital, where he’d spend the day crying over things that couldn't be changed.

Sighing, Neville looked down at the presents, wishing he could be someone else.

He received a fake wand, candy, a picture book about a duck, and a self-bouncing ball… One more present left…

Sighing, Neville opened the last present, from his Grandmother, and let out a shriek of glee, " Purple pyjamas with the Corydalis!” (His favourite plant at the time), smiling Neville ran downstairs to hug his grandma
