54. Dare
Ernie and Justin were sitting in the corner of the Hufflepuff Common Room nearest to the fire. Susan Bones and Hannah Abbot were on the opposite side, working on some homework.
Ernie was having trouble keeping Justin's attention, as Justin was prone to staring at Susan for extended periods of time.
"Just do it" he finally said, defeated.
"Do what?" Justin asked, snapping out of his daydream.
"Ask her out. I dare you to" Ernie said, feeling rather mischevious.
Justin was never one to back down from a dare. "I accept" he said solemnly, as he stood up.
