In the past few years, happiness had been something foreign to the Wizarding world. Voldemort had risen and the Ministry had declared war on the Dark Lord and his followers.
But it was all over now. Voldemort was dead. And so was Harry Potter, who had left behind a young, pregnant widow.
The whole Britain mourned for their friends, heroes, lovers and family. But for that one night, that one moment, Katie Bell was positively oozing cheer.
Marcus Flint had proposed. On bended knee and a diamond ring, none-the-less.
That one act had given people the right to be cheerful. |
