Fear. An emotion Marcus Flint was not overly familiar with. But for the past few years, that had changed.
Every morning he woke up, thinking fearfully that today was the day Katie would change her mind.
Every time he saw her, fear gripped his heart as he thought that he could hurt her. Or she could hurt him.
Every time he said goodbye to her, he feared that time would be the real thing.
Every night he went to sleep, he feared that tomorrow she would leave him.
Now as she walked down the aisle, fear was his best man. |
