Katie Bell watched Hermione knitting in the corner and scrunched up her nose in confusion. What the heck are those things supposed to be? Mittens? Hats? Tea-cosies for toy tea sets?
“Ron…what do you think Hermione is doing?” She asked the young Weasley beside her.
Ron shook his head incredulously and told her, “She’s knitting hats for the house-elves to pick up when they clean.”
Katie was torn between laughter and indignation. The elves wouldn’t like that, but yet…it was just too funny to think of.
That night, she picked up all the hats and locked them in her trunk. |
