Here I was in class, shaking in my desk because some Slytherin git was trying to win me over. Boys. Would they ever learn?

All I could do (I didn’t want detention) was grit my teeth and ignore his antics. This proved to be extremely hard as he was very good at being a nuisance. He reverted back to the back poking and when that didn’t work, he started shaking again.

“Are you trying to ignore me?” he whispered in my ear when the professor was looking away.

I muttered through clenched teeth, “As a matter of fact, I am.”
