These solutions can be used to clean up mundane messes such as the dirt on your desks as well as other, more stubborn, messes caused by magical means. We are using them to clean up simple messes just for the demonstration but, that does not mean they have other uses. Muggles would not be able to brew such solutions and disclosing such solutions to the muggle public would constitute a breach in the Code for Magical Secrecy," Professor Branxton patiently explained.
