"Samea sounded like Professor Lainey was going to die. I'd assume if she had some kind of fatal illness, it would be more widely known, which only leaves murder in my mind." She mumbled.

It occured to her that it would be more wise to talk to Professor Lainey about this, but she didn't know the woman, and wasn't sure if she was feeling daring enough to go knocking on a new, strange door.
