He glanced up quickly at her weak voice though, spotting the panic in her eyes. His mouth fell open as he tried to think of a way to put it more mildly, that is, to lure her outside without her being afraid.

"Well..." he began, looking from her to the window. "I... mean... you know, get used to it and... look around. Maybe we can go get a drink from one of those little buildings... I think there's a little cafe and a small convenience store... we can go get some water... maybe their air conditioners work better!" He nodded energeticly, hair bouncing eagerly, as if the curls wanted the cool drinks as well.

She frowned at Jamie and shook her head at him. Of course, the Alps didn't have bears. It was just too cold plus, the Yeti would have eaten them anyways if they attempted to invade their territory.

"Well, Colorado sounds nice," she said still suspicious of Jamie.

If there were bears in Colorado, she would never forgive him, well, she wouldn't forgive for at least ten minutes. Yes, ten minutes was reasonable.

"I suppose I could go outside," she said with newfound determination at the possibility of better air conditioning."What with the cafe and all," she finished refusing to admit that although the possibly of drinking an iced coffee was appealing it was the air conditioning that did her in.
