Chapter 25: Pre-Wedding Jitters


Camey was pacing up and down her dressing room in a lacey, white dress.

“He’s too good for me! Why on earth would he want to marry me?” Camey asked the room at large.

“Camey! Stop!” Lily commanded. “You and Remus are very kind and generous people; you are perfect for each other. You have nothing to worry about.”

“But, what if he leaves me at the altar?” Camey asked, not taking in a word of what Lily had just said.

“Then we will hunt him down, and kick his butt!” Andi said, smirking.

Violet said, “Camey, you and Remus are in love. Don’t worry; everything is going to be fine. And at the end of today, you will be Mrs. Camellia Lupin.”

In the boys’ dressing room, Remus was completely freaking out.

“What am I doing here?” he asked, as James put on his jacket.

Sirius laughed. “Moony, you are getting married.”

“That’s not what I meant!” Remus snapped, fiddling with his bow tie. “She’s too good for me!”

James sighed, “Remus, you two are perfect for each other.”

“What am I thinking? I’m a werewolf! I could kill her!” Moony realized. “I have to get out of here!”

James restrained Remus while Sirius raced to the girls’ dressing room.

Lily jumped back in surprise when Sirius barged into their dressing room. “Sirius!” she exclaimed. “What if we had been changing?”

Andi laughed, “It’s not like he hasn’t seen you change before!”

“What!?!” Vi, Camey, and Lily cried.

“In school, he used secret passageway that went into the girls’ closet. He stayed there for hours!” Andi explained.

“How did you know about that?” Sirius asked.

“James told me,” Andi replied.

“I’m gonna kill him!” Sirius shouted.

The flowers rounded on Sirius.

“I’m sorry!” he said. “I was young and stupid…….” He went into a lengthy apology; and the girls finally agreed to let him live. ( )

“What did you come here for, in the first place?” Camey asked.

“Oh yeah!” Sirius said, remembering. “Andi, I need your help.” He dragged her out into the hall-way.

“What?” she asked.

“Remus is going crazy……..and James and I can’t get him to relax!” Sirius cried.

Andi sighed. “Come on,” she said, leading him back to the boys dressing rooms.

Remus struggled against James's grip. "James let go!"

"No! You and Camey are in love, and you are not going to screw this up!"

Remus broke free of James and headed to the door. However James tackled him, and ended up sitting on top of him!

"James! Get off!" Remus yelled, as he punched James, in the face.

James grabbed Remus's hands and pinned them down.

Unfortunately, Andi and Sirius walked in, and burst out laughing.

"James, what are you doing?" Andi asked.

"I'm trying to keep him from leaving!" James scowled.

"Why are you holding his hands, Prongs?" Sirius asked, chuckling.

"He punched me!" James said indignantly.

Sirius pulled him off of Remus.

“Remus, what’s the matter?” Andi asked.

“I can’t do this,” he sighed.

“Why not?” Andi asked.

“Camey is too good for me. She’s going to realize that, and leave.”

“Remus! Right now, she is in her room, worrying that you will change your mind, and leave her at the altar!”

Remus sighed again, “I love her so much.”

“That’s good,” Andi replied, “Because the wedding is about to start. Can you do this?”
