Clair looked up at Elphie. "Oh Elphie...I've tried all of those spells, everything that I thought could help!" she insisted, running throught the list of spells in her mind again. "But nothing seems to be working!" she looked down at Peter's motionless form. His chest occasionally moved up and down, to show he was breathing but that was the only sign that he was still alive.
Ben looked up as Edmund came up to the group. "Peter's been knocked out," he said quietly. "Clair said they were fighting a giant and it hit Peter...he hasn't gotten up since then..." he explained, his voice in a monotone. How could this have happened? he wondered. "Clair has been trying everything, but nothing has worked so far," he added, looking up at Edmund.
