Clair looked up as everyone began to gather around them. "He...he was hit by a giant we were fighting," she began to explain. Her eyes began to blur as the memory flashed beforeh er eyes. "We were fighting and the giant seemed to be defeated. But instead, it hit Peter and Peter went flying..." she paused, unable to stop the flood of tears. "I defeated the Giant and ran over here as fast as I could. He's alive, but barely," she explained, a sob escaping as she finished. She looked down at him, her hand not leaving his. "I've tried every spell I know, but nothing seems to be helping..." she said, looking down at his face.
Ben listened as Clair told the story. He scanned the battlefield, hoping nothing would suddenly pop up. "It will be okay Clair, the enemy seems to be backing off..." he said, trailing off as he saw shadows within the trees. He got ready, but smiled when he saw it was Edmund running up to them. "Hey, everyone okay over there?" he asked, concerned especially about Lucy.
Harry saw that the enemies were backing off, so he but his bow on a special hook on his quiver. He then broke into a run and followed edmund down the path towards the Sword fighting glade. When he emerged, he saw Peter down and a group forming around him. "What happened?" he asked, coming over next to Clair.
