Loves the Black Dog | Ninja Pirate...BEWARE! | High Queen of Narnia | GIRAFFE- made you look! Clair winced as the Giant's hand landed a couple inches to her left. She used her sword to cut into the giant's leg and she was tempted to cover her ears as the giant howled in pain. She pushed the sound aside and tried once again to cut at the giant's leg. Peter looked over at Clair and smiled to himself. She's a great fighter, he thought as he cut at the giant's hand. He dodged as the other hand came down and cut up in an attempt to fend it off. It hit true and the giant screeched in pain. Peter sighed, hoping this was the end. Suddenly, he was surprised to see the giant's face level with his own. Their eyes met and the giant headbutted him. Peter flew back a couple feet and when he hit the ground, he was unconscious. Clair screamed in anger and sadness. She fought, hoping that Peter was still alive. Visions of them at thefeast andhavingthe food fight flashed through her brain and she fought hard, cutting at everything that came in her way. Suddenly, the ground shoot as the giant fell onto the ground. Clair went up, sword ready, but saw that the giant was dead. Still holding onto her sword, she ran over to where Peter's body laid. She hugged his motionless form, tears streaming from her eyes as she hoped, beyond hope, that he was still alive. "Peter, c'mon, you have to be alive, you just have to be!" she said, trying to find any place where he was hurt. She felt the back of his head and felt blood. "No, no, Peter, listen to me, stay with me," she coaxed, eyes still brimming with tears. She looked around frantically for her wand and finally found it in her pocket, where she had stuffed it earlier when she was fighting with the giant. She pulled it out and thought hard, trying to think of a spell. Ben finished with the Orkney and sank down onto one knee. He was exhausted. Looking around, he saw that the enemy was weakening. Many of the creatures had faded into the trees surrounding the sword fighting field. He looked around, having finally caught his breath. Then, he saw Peter and Clair. He frowned not sure what had happened. He went over, still holding his sword up in case anything happened. As he got closer, he saw that Peter seemed to be unconscious. "Elphie! Todd! Peter's down! Help me cover them!" he called. He saw that there were only a few creatures still in the glade and they were retreating back into the trees. He sighed, hoping that the fight was over. Harry smiled at Susan and then went back to firing both arrows and spells. Soon, he noticed that the enemy was fading back into the trees. "Hey, I think they're giving up..." he said, hope filling him. "Why don't we try and find the others," he suggested. He wondered how they were doing. He looked down at the number of arrows and saw that he was running low again. He casted the spell and once again arrows filled his quiver. He scanned the archery field and found Susan. "Hey, how are you holding up?" he asked, giving her a hug.
