The sun had made it to where Ashlie was seeing spots, so while Xavier informed her she'd been out on the dock about two hours as she gathered, she blinked them away, slightly mesmerized by the odd shapes and colours.

She quirked a brow at him again, a facial expression she quite enjoyed using. It was almost odd, him out here trying to get her to go into his boat. They hadn't really been good friends or anything while back at school. In fact, she was pretty certain that during the time the Ministry was running the school, she'd yelled at him for breaking some kind of rule.

"How do I trust you?" she asked with a smirk. "You always were a rule breaker."

However, it was nice to be around people her age, people she'd gone to school with. She'd play it out, see how things went. Hope to Merlin he was over sixteen. (Shouldn't he be nineteen? twenty? she wondered)
