Ariana listened intently to the Professor and nodded. She knew no spells, but she was smart enough to know not to ask dumb questions in class. She looked down at her golden ball, holding it in her hand loosley, closing her eyes She concentrated on what she was trying to feel. She could feel a small pulsating sensation in her palm and nodded to herself.
After concentrating steadily for 5 minutes, she took out her wand, held it close to the ball and said in a clear, strong voice, "Wingardiumn Leviosa" making sure to say 'gar' and 'O-sa" clearly and strongly. It had helped that she had read the Charms book four times before school started. She looked down at her ball, hoping for something to happen, but all that happened was the ball moving aruond in the palm of her hand slightly, then nothing. she sighed quietly.
