Later in the day Xavier exited his cabin, wondering if he should drop by Ashlie's cabin and ask her if she and 'the kids' wanted to go on the boat ride, when out of the corner of his eye he spied her lying down on the dock, dipping her feet.
He walked over the boat rental shack and after closely inspecting the boat he rented pushed it into the water and started the motor. He conventely forgot the check the gas and to ask for a spare can.
He headed out onto the water, getting a feel for the boat until finally he pulled up on the dock. "Hey, you wanted to go boating, right?" he asked Ashlie, cutting the motor. |
