Joana looked out of her compartment window as she tried to busy herself with her new Dan Brown book. She sighed knowing it was no use. New school yet again. She thought as icy blue eyes glazed over in thought. I wish I could find somewhere I could belong.
Joana shook her head as tears started to form in her eyes. Her father was never a man who liked the weakness of emotions, and she was never a girl to show it.
Joana was jolted out of her deep thought by the grummbing of her stomach. She tried to ignore it and went back to reading, but the hunger was determined to be estinguished.
She sighed as she grugingly got up to find the food trolly. Putting her book down and walking out of her compartment. She looked at a compartment full of friends as she walked past. She looked on longingly. Maybe this year, just maybe, I'll try to make friends. Joana thought. But, before she could become imersed in the fantasy, she shook it out of her head. What's the point. I'm gonna leave soon anyway.
