Todd had just finished off his opponent with he heard Elphie cry out. He dropped his sword immediatly, and ran over to where he heard the sound. He found Elphie, grasping her bleeding arm. Todd ripped part of his shirt, and rushed to the bleeding girl. He wrapped the cloth around the wound, the blood already staining it. "You'll get better, Elphie! I know you will! You can't get hurt.. or anything worse," he said, tears brimming his eyes. Todd felt his throat tighten up as he held Elphie.
Lucy was in the archery range, fighting with all her might. She shot an arrow out, not hitting her target but close enough to hurt. She wished that she could use the magic of her new wizard and witch friends, but that wouldn't be right. Lucy had her own role to play, and she glanced around the battlefield ground. No one was wounded, on her own side of course, and she was glad. At least we're holding out.. she thought. I wonder what's happening with the other half of the group. Her mind raced to Ben, and Lucy wished she'd seen him at least one more time.
