I heard this as a rumor too. I think JK siad something like it takes really long to write the quiddicth scenes.

I think if JK has to tie up all the loose ends it might be hard to fit into the story. I don't think Harry is going to have much time to play because he needs to find the horcruxes. He also didn't plan on going back to Hogwarts either.

I also thought when I heard this rumor that maybe there will be no quiddicth because Hogwarts won't be open for the 7th book. Or if Hogwarts is open it will be in a "lock down". So there will be not extras other then the regular classes.

It's something to think about...
