Life had been quite dull for Luna Lovegood as of late. She'd been working for the Quibbler since finishing school, and while it had been quite thrilling researching everything that would be put into each issue, at first, it had began to grow dull after so many years.

She sighed and looked dreamily out the window next to her desk, wishing right then that she could be anywhere but in that stuffy little room writing final drafts, and had begun to daydream of a warm beach somewhere, when she was suddenly brought back to reality by the tapping of some sharp object on the window pane.

Large, blue eyes blinked, then focused in on a tawny owl that seemed rather impatient. She had to wonder, just how long had it been tapping? Ah well, it would have to remain a mystery, was the conclusion she came to, as she headed over to allow the animal in.

She unrolled the partchment to find in neat, minute scrawl an invitation to Harry's 26th birthday party. A party! It had been ages...
