Briam marched quickly into the deepest part of Bloodvain Forrest. He didnt have any real idea of where he was heading. It just felt better to move around then to stay in his room any longer. The forrest wasnt completely safe, but he also knew that the mansion wasn't safe either. This is what this war had come too. 'They are planning an attack.' he thought to himself. He slowed his walking and sighed. "But who is they?" he asked the question aloud, hoping someone out there would answer it.
He closed his eyes and tried to focus.
Long had been the ability of the bloodvain girls to know in detail everything that went on their grounds. Briam knew it had to do with powerful ties between the mansion and the Bloodvain family. At times Briam had felt he too could sense things that he didnt normally feel. He hoped now would be one of those times. Briam was well aware that Carolyn had apparated once she had made her way through the barrier that was the fake wall they had set up for protection.
Opening his eyes, he realised that he had unintentionally walked his normal route to a clearing he was fond of. Quietly he sat in the middle of a small patch of grass where the trees opened up enough to see the sky. It was shrouded in darkness. It was also his favourite part of the forrest. Shutting his eyes he made himself comfortable, and at once his mind prepared itself for the long, deep, intense thought sessions that usually took place in this particular spot.
He kept his eyes closed and began to hope that he could figure out where Carolyn had apparated too. 'I need to find their hiding spot.' he thought, 'Please.. I need to find their hiding spot. Please...'
After a moments pause an idea came to him. It wasnt a good plan, and he didnt yet know where his enemies were hiding, but he had an idea, and that was a start.
Briam set off at once. This time, he knew exactly where he was headed...
