Dean Thomas walked up to his dormitory alone. It was his birthday and it seemed like everyone had forgotten. He sat on his bed and heard a crinkling sound. He jumped up and saw a note. Go to the kitchen. He was confused. Why should he go to the kitchen and where in Hogwarts were they? He began wandering around, hoping that the kitchens would magically appear, after all, it was Hogwarts. Finally as he gave up, he ran into Fred and George. "Hey! Can you guys tell me where the kitchens are?" he asked. They smiled and told him how to get there- the long way. When he finally arrived and tickled the pear, he entered the kitchens. It seemed as if all the Gryffindors were there and they all jumped up and shouted "Surprise!!" and handed him a chocolate cake and a bunch of chocolate from Honeydukes.
