Meanwhile, Remus Lupin sat in his kitchen reading the Daily Prophet. He was startled when his owl, Thunder, rapped his beak on the window, carring a letter. Lupin opened the window quickly, allowing the bird to fly around before landing to hand off the letter.

"I wonder what this is." He said curiously, taking the letter and ruffling Thunder's feathers. He hurriedly unsealed the envelope and let the letter fall into his lap. He picked up and read it in a rush.

"So, Harry's having a shindig for his 26th, huh?" He chuckled, amusing himself with his sudden interesting choice of words. "I'm sure I could make it." He thought, reminicising about past friends.

"Harry, your family would be so proud to see you now." He said quietly, as silent tears fell down his cheeks. He sat the letter down and...
