I loathe Draco/Hermione almost as much as Harry/Hermione. Perhaps more because really, writers butcher these pairings. However, this is a nicely written fic. I like the way you portrayed them, no mad attempts at rescue or anything like this (by the way, Snape is innocent, I tell you!) - though Hermione is a bit too much of a wimp, more of the movie-Emma Watson than the real Hermione Granger who I would count as someone more practical, more ashamed of crying etc, etc.

Draco is well-written though, I feel a lot of sympathy for him and thank you, thankyou for not having her engaged to Ron or Harry - that has to be one of the cliches of the century.
