I'm busy waiting for my FanFic to go through. I think a mod is still, well, modding it, I suppose. It's called "Through the Eyes of a Wallflower" and it involves Oliver as well, because I, well, love him to oodle bidoodles. =D

June 16, eh? Two days after I graduate from eighth grade! A bittersweep graduation gift, I suppose!

To enjoy the last week of school, Oliver and I took a walk in the forest by Hagrid’s cabin. The sun barely reached us due to the concealing trees that hovered above us.

“I can’t believe school’s coming to an end. This is our last year at Hogwarts. I’m going to miss it so much,” I sighed, looking wistfully through the trees to see our old school.

“I’m going to miss everything too. We did end the year off well, though. I mean, we won the Quidditch Cup and finished our exams with good grades.” Oliver grasped both of my hands. “I’ll send you lots of letters.”

“That sounds good. Maybe you can visit me sometime during the summer,” I suggested.

I could tell that Oliver wasn’t really paying much attention because, although he nodded, he cupped my face in his hand and covered my mouth with his. My hands ran down his chest, feeling the tense muscles. His arms encircled my waist, drawing me closer.

Soft footsteps approaching us diverted our attention. Squinting, I distinguished Hermione and Harry tiptoeing on the forest floor. They didn’t seem to notice us.

The same lopsided grin spread across Oliver’s face. “Let’s give them a little scare,” he whispered humorously. We crept behind them soundlessly.

Then I saw something that may have proved me mad. I saw Harry, Hermione, and Ron go in to Hagrid’s house, but Harry and Hermione were right in front of us! Oliver had noticed too. He crept up and laid a hand on Harry’s shoulder. The pair jumped.

“What are you too doing here?” Hermione hissed, shooting glances at Hagrid’s hut.

“What are you doing here? And there?” Oliver pointed to the cabin. A look of confusion was on his face, and I’m sure I looked similar.

Rolling her eyes, Hermione whispered to me, “Remember the necklace you picked up for me at the Quidditch game? Well, it’s a Time-Turner. We’re back in time right now to save Buckbeak and Sirius.” She hushed us when we gawked and started to speak.

“Don’t tell anyone, you two,” Harry said softly. “No one’s supposed to know.”

Oliver and I lurked in the shadows, not wanting to miss anything. Hermione and Harry talked in undertones. Suddenly, Harry lunged towards the cabin. “Let’s get him!” He exclaimed.

“No!” Hermione cried. She grabbed at his shirt, but with no avail. “Help me!”

Oliver and I struggled to pull him into the forest. All of us dropped to the ground when Hagrid looked outside curiously. My heart pounded, hoping that the others wouldn’t investigate the noise.

“Thanks,” Hermione mumbled. “He was about to take Peter Pettigrew. It wouldn’t have been good if he saw himself.”

“Peter Pettigrew?” I asked, furrowing my brow. I’d never heard of anyone called by that name.

“Never mind.” Hermione glanced over the pumpkins. “I think you two better go. It’s time for Harry and I to do our work. Thanks again.”

I nodded and shrank back into the shadows with Oliver. The walk back to Hogwarts was a silent one. We were both contemplating what had just occurred. Everything was so confusing. Imagine—being in two places at once!

The Hogwarts Express blew one last hoot and started down the long way back to London. Oliver, Leanne, Fred, George, and I shared a cubicle in the train. I watched my beloved school in silence as it shrank, becoming a mere dot on the horizon. It seemed as if it were the beginning of the year: Fred and Leanne were flirting, George and Oliver were talking about Quidditch, and I had the most wonderful feeling that everything was going to be absolutely fantastic.

That concludes "Flying High". I hoped y'all liked it! It was my last day of school as well, so I thought it'd be fitting to post it today.

I have just made a site for myself that concentrates on my SS fan fictions. The link is in my siggy, which says "Other Stories". So if you want to know what stories I have up and what updates have been made, just check that out.

Thanks again to all my readers. You have all been so awesome. *huggles all*
