Lainey stood over Lee and waved her wand to free him. "I don't want you to say a word. Just get up and we'll talk about this when we get to my office." Lainey offered him a hand, made him take it and lifted him up. "You will hold my hand the entire way back." Lainey gripped it tightly and led him out of the cave.
"Lee thought he saw something that he in fact did not. No harm done. Let's head back class." Lainey smiled to Thorn, sending him a little thank you nod for handling things for her, and began the trip back to the castle.
In no time, the class was back at the edge of the forest. "You're free to go from here. Homework for this week is to outline Thomas's life from birth through Hogwarts. It'll be due in one week! Class dismissed!"
Lainey bid goodbye to Thorn and thanked him again, before dragging Lee up to the castle. |
