Chapter 7: Trouble In Potions

I couldn't finish my breakfast. My friends and I leave the Great Hall to the dungeons to the Potions lab with Professor Snape. We walk down to the Potions lab down down the winding stairs that lead down to the dungeons. We reach the Potions lab first and we have to wait for Professor Snape and the rest of the Ravenclaw 5th years and Hufflepuff 5th years. Padma was a Prefect and she was one of my closest friends. Anthony Goldstein was the other prefect for Ravenclaw House. It was a good thing that Padma didn't turn me in for punching Draco on the train ride up here. Anthony reached the POtions lab as tired as ever and so was Padma because they were doing their prefect duties last night. Everyone entered the Potions lab after Snape opened the door for us to enter. It was 8 o' clock in the morning and the Potions lesson wasn't going so well for me because I had too many things on my mind. I felt Snape trying to read my mind and I look down at my potions ingredients that I was putting in my cauldron. Snape comes over to me and starts hissing in my ear, "Miss Black, I can figure out who your father is just by looking at you because you look like him a spitting image. He is Sirius Black. The apple doesn't fall fall very from the tree, Miss Black. I knew you father causing so much trouble with his friend, James Potter. They were the ring leaders of their little gang. I went to Hogwarts with them and I was in the same year as them." I listen to Snape as I put the wrong ingredient in the potion. The next thing I know is Snape screaming at me, "YOU STUPID PATHETIC GIRL LOOK AT WHAT YOU DONE." Tears run down my face and I am forced to clean up my mess that i made from putting the wrong ingredient in the potion without magic.

I clean it up and I receive a "ZERO" for today's lesson. I losted 20 house points from Ravenclaw House. The bell rings signaling the next lesson. I pasck up my things and put them in my bag. I leave Potions for Charms lesson.
