Professor Snape goes around the class checking everyone's progress and he isn't too happy with my frined, Christina Lane. He gives her a detention. Next the he come to me and sees that my potion is the exact shade and consistency of what of what the potion is supposed to look like. Snape has me put my potion in a vial. At the end of the lesson Professor Snape has everyone expect my friend, Christina Lane, who gets a zero today to hand in a vial of Draught of Peace to him on his desk. After that everyone had put their vials on Snape's desk, we were let from the class and us Ravenclaw 5th years head to Charms and the Hufflepuffs head to Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Profesor Dolores Umbridge. I went to charms with my best friends and the rest of the Ravenclaws 5th years as well. I enter the Charms classroom and I go sit down with my friends, Christina, Azura, and Padma during the 1st lesson of charms of the new school term. Professor Flitwick, who taught Charms and was head of the Ravenclaw House announced as everyone took their seats abd sat down, "Welcome back class. This is your O.W.L. year. So everyone I suppect you can pass this class with an 'O', 'E' or an 'A'. I am going to teach the Engorgio spell. everyone swish and flick. Right in front of you is a small button ans I wnat you class to make it bigger. Ready. Say, 'Engorgio.'" I point my wand at the small button ans say, "Engorgio." and the button gets to the size of a hubcap. It keeps getting bigger. I yell for Professor Flitwick's attention and he comes over to me. He asks me, "What is wrong, Miss Black?" I reply, "My button won't stop growing. Can you help me make it smaller" Professor Flitwick says to me, "Miss Black point your wand say, 'Reducio' to make it go back to normal." So I do what I am told and I point my wand at the button and say, "Reducio." The button shrunk back to normal. The lesson ends and Profesor Flitwick gives the class homework right before he lets the class go. Now I have homework for Chams and it is an essay.

I got through the rest days lessons. Each teacher gave homework to do. Each one of the teachers keep telling us how important O.W.L.s are this year for our magical education.



Chapter 6: Talking to Harry Potter

During supper my friends and I were sitting near Cho Chang and her friend, Marietta Edgecombie. As I eat my food and drink my pumpkin juice with my friends. Christina Lane says to me, "Izzy, I know that we have been friends for a long time since our 1st year, but something is bothering me." I reply trying not to speak with food in my mouth and start to swallow my food not trying to chokeon it, "Christina, what is it?" Christina says, "I fell like our friendship is strained." I reply, "No, it isn't." I finish my food and leaave the Ravenclaw House table. Then I exit the Great Hall and I head up to the Ravenclaw House Tower. My friends follow suit and they follow me up to the Ravenclaw Tower. I reach the portait and it says, "Password?" I say, "Phoenix." and the portait opens allowing my friends and I to enter the common room. It closes as we enter the common room.

I go up to my dormitory and I get my books so I can work on my homework that was given to me. I come back down from the girl's dormitory and I put my books on the table. I don't want to be bothered by anyone. My friends sit near the fireplace as I sit at the table working on my homework. The fire in the fireplace bbburnt a reddish-orange craackling and making sparks as it made shadows where my friends were sitting. I continue to work on my homework and it is past midnight. The fire had started to burn out making the logs burn into ash. My friends already went up to the dormitory and went to bed. I was getting tired and I start to fall asleep with my head up against the book I was using.



I wake up around 7 o' clock in the morning on September 3, 1995 with my face stuck to page 109 in the book I was working on and my black hair was a mess. I start to rub my eyes realizing that I fell asleep at the table in the common room. I pick up my books and stack them neatly. I get up from the table and take my books up to my dormitory so I can go and get dressed and get changed into clean clothes. I get dressed as fast as possible and I rush down to the Great Hall for breakfast around 7:15 AM. I run into someone, who I need to talk to badly. He is heading to the Great Hall as well. It was Harry Potter and he was alone without his friends, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley walking with him. It was good that they weren't in the corridor Harry and I were in. I say, "Harry Potter, I have something to tell you and it is about your godfather, Sirius Black." Harry says, "How do you know that Sirius Black is my godfather?" I reply as we continue walking towards the Great Hall together, "I found out from Professor Dumbledore that he is your godfather and I found out on my birthday that he is my father." Harry is shocked as I say this and he says, "How can that be?" I explain the best way I knew how. We reach the Great Hall together, Harry heads to the Gryffindor House Table and I head to the Ravenclaw House Table and I say, "Bye, Harry."

I sit down at the Ravenclaw House Table and started eating my breakfast. My friends are sitting beside wondering why I came in with Harry Potter. So I made up a lie why Harry and I walked into the Great Hall together. I hear Draco making the comment as he yells it over the Great Hall, "Hey, Potter you got yourself a new girlfriend." My face was red and by the look on Harry's face as I looked at him was a very deep loathing. Harry's temper was rising and his friend, Hermione Granger is trying to calm him down.
