The clanging of the shop bell was starting to irritate Maximus as customers came and went from the shop. Business was brisk and he was making a nice profit from the sales. That thought cheered him up a little after his lengthy encounter with Luciana earlier that day and he turned around to straighten one of the many photographs of himself that he had hanging on the walls around the shop.
