Hearing a voice behind her, Rosalie turned, and barely had time to think before a huge cat came barreling into her knees. She let out a strangled scream as she fell forward, landing hard on her hands and knees. There was a sickening crack that echoed through the nearly abandoned hall. Her left leg, and arm gave way under the strain of her weight, causing a horrible throbbing all up her left side.

“You....” Rosalie tried to his at the girl standing down the hall, but couldn’t make herself say any more.

Trying to ward off the pain, Rosalie lay face down on the stone of the hallway, You’ve dealt with worse you baby! She coached herself sternly, and squeezed her eyes shut.
