Katie was terrified. She had seen what had happened to the common room. Tables had been smashed and chairs were torn apart.
"Why would someone do such a thing?" she thought to herself.
She looked around for her friends, but none of them were in the hall yet. Katie turned around and saw her twin brother, Nathan, entering the great hall. She ran over and gave him a huge hug.
"Thank God you are OK. I was terrified when I couldn't find you. I thought something terrible had happened. Where have you been anyway?" Katie rambled.
"Katie calm down, I'm all right. I was in the Owlery sending a letter to Sarah, I didn't even realize anything was wrong," Nathan replied. "Have you been able to find Vicky yet?" he asked.
"No, not yet," Katie replied. She was starting to get worried. She had not heard from Vicky in a long while.
"Let's get some sleeping bags and go over by the enterence. That way Vicky will see us when she come in, OK?" Nathan asked.
"Ok," Katie replied.
