At that point his head jerked forward and he jumped up in surprise, "What is this??" He practically shouted, his hand reaching back to his head and found that there was mashed potatoes in his hair.

He whirled around, looking for the source and saw a girl at the Ravenclaw table he had never met before. "You!" He called out to her, but in his rage he couldn't even form a proper sentence anymore, as he stared at the gunk in his hand and at the girl. He reached for the chocolate eclairs on the Gryffindor table and threw it at the girl, missing her and hitting the boy sitting next to her (ooc: lestat).

He turned to the girl who had just joined them and burst into a huge smile, "Franchesca! I thought you were not coming this term!" He said, giving her a big hug and resulting in having her covered in mashed potatoes and chocolate.

Bucky nodded at Nikolai. Nice name, compared to hers. She faked a smile as her left eye twitched once at the mention of Maddi. Did everyone have to talk about her? Who was she? Some child popstar? But somethign caught Bucky's eye. From the Ravenclaw table she saw something white. Yes, a small white blob flying at high speed towards her. She was about to move to avoid it and raised her hand to point and call out a warning but was too slow.

"You uh--got something there," she added even though Nik had already spotted the potato substance ruining his hair do.

She inclined and sniffed his hair.

"Potato," she said with a smirk.

Nik however got really angry and Bucky raised her hands in protest. This wasn't going to be good.

"Whoa," she spoke softly. "Inhale peace, exhale anger. Potatoes are really good for you. I read in this--Oh, you don't really want to throw that eclair--I."

But it was too late. The eclair had already flown through the air like a miniature missile and hit a strange looking Ravenclaw boy. Bucky looked both ways and then at the table.

"Right."

She grabbed an empty plate and held it in front of her face. Safety first.

Julia takes a bite of her chicken and sets the rest of it down on her plate. She dares to glance over at the Gryffindor table and then blinks as chocolate cake flies into the front of her robes. She picks up some of the cake and eats it, then ponders for a moment. "Hey.. that's not bad!" she exclaims, then giggles. Suddenly she remembers that someone had thrown it at her, and it wasn't just there as an ornament.

Watching with wide eyes, she cracks up as the chocolate eclairs that she had seen the Hufflepuff boy throw hit Lestat. "Hmm. It's like raining chocolate today! YAY CHOCOLATE!" she says quite loudly, then giggles. Julia blinks stupidly as she realizes she should probably be mad.. or at least act it. But... it's all CHOCOLATE!, she thinks, eating some more cake off of the front of her robes. I'll let it slide this time, she thinks. Only because it's chocolate...

Francesca gladly returned the hug and giggled when she saw that there was chocolate and mashed potatoes all over her body. She rolled her eyes as the house elf started cleaning. This school had some of the ugliest house elves the girl had ever laid eyes on.

"I decided to come since my cousin no longer attends Hogwarts as of now."

She picked up a bowl of gravy and snuck up behind the house elf. She poured the substance on top of the house elf's head with a hint of amusement in her brown eyes.

Nik parted from her and saw what she had done, he burst into gales of laughter and clutched his stomach. "Franchesca! You're evil!" He said, he looked at the elf again and burst into fresh bouts of laughter, "You're mean!" He said, laughing hard and picked up a handful of spinach goop. "I shall avenge you, poor house elf!" He called over his shoulder and mashed the spinach on Fran's head.

Just then the Headmistress spoke up and ordered the whole business over and Nik wiped his hands on his robes, "Sorry, Fran." He said, "but you got the elf."

Algamus swung around in time to see the girl with the gravy. He cast a scourgify spell in time before his spotless smock could be soiled and backed away as another messy student dropped spinach on the girl's head. "HEADMISTRESS!" he screamed and took off again.
