Hermione shot up, blushing, making sure Cedric's cloak covered herself and Cedric who had been laying on the seat asleep. He awoke aburptly.
"Ron, get out!" she shouted, not knowing Cedric was awake.
Draco & Ginny walked past at that immediate moment in time. They looked over he two boy's shoulders and saw what the shoting was about. Draco looked as if he wanted to say something, but the look Ginny gave him was murderous. She took Ron by the shirt collar and with Harry's help, pulled him out of the compartment. "Get dressed Hermione, we're 5 minutes away from the stop." she said, pulling the door closed.
"Draconis, unless you want an unhappy girlfriend, shut up, and don't say anything about what just happened or you get bat-bogey hexed." Ginny threatened angrily.
"I didn't say anything." Draco retorted.
"You were about to." Ginny shouted as they got back to their compartment.
5 minutes later, the train pulled up at King's Cross station, the students filed out of the train doors to their parents, saying their goodbyes to their friends and classmates for the holidays.
Draco and Ginny said their special, secret goodbye and went their seperate ways, thinking of each other.
The trio & Cedric saw the Weasley's and Hermione's parents waiting for their children. But no sign of Cedric's parents.
"How did they get through? They're muggles." Hermione asked, confused.
The boys shrugged and hugged her goodbye.
"Promise I'll write over the summer, but we need you to promise us too." Harry said, grinning.
Giggling, Hermione nodded. "Promise."
Harry smiled. Ron glared at her.
"Seriously Hermione, you'll have people thinking you're a ..." Ron trailed off.
"A What?!" she fired up at once. "A what exactly Ronald?!"
"Hermione, calm down ..." Cedric said, holding her by her shoulders gently.
Ron ran to his parents, Harry following.
"So, this is it, then." Cedric said.
"For the summer, I guess." Hermione sighed, hugging him.
"I won't be able to talk to you for a whole 6 weeks." he whispered into her hair.
"You will." she said, pulling away from his embrace and took his hands gently in her unusually cold ones. "We can hear each other's thoughts. I'll pray for you to be better again. You'll hear my voice in my own thoughts, prayers or when ever you want to talk."
He nodded, and with one final hug and kiss goodbye, they both parted to their parents, Cedric still wondering where his parents were waiting.
Wormtail and Voldemort were still plotting to kill Cedric again, in secret.
