And then business was picking up. Ashlie groaned internally. She was up too early for this! She didn't deal well with people (Genius for taking this job) and now, people were crawling about the place. She straightened up and forced a smile onto her face. Joyous.

She turned to the first girl, who seemed to not realize there was a menu behind her. Of course, Ashlie often forgot a menu sat there. "You can get most anything for breakfast here. Your basic fruits and cheeses and pastries," she said, waving her hand in the air, following her fingers with her eyes almost dazedly. That was what happened to you when you didn't have a life.

She watched the two girls walk in, recognizing one as a fellow former Ravenclaw, Fate. She was the one who was always snogging with that weird Dave kid in her Library Corners. Luckily for her, Ashlie had managed her anger.

Kind of.

Another girl came in, and a look of relization set in on her and she squealed out Jamie's name. Ashlie glanced over at the boy to verify that this one of his... harem.

It was. Jamie jumped from his seat, his fork falling with a clatter onto his nearly empty plate.

"Jenzy!" he cried happily, jumping over the bar. It wasn't a jump so much as he stumbled over the shelves below the counter and slid over the bar's surface and tumbled down before his friend.

"Hi!" he cried happily. "You ready to come stay with us!" He was almost shaking with joy as he stood before his friend. "Eeeeee wow! Yay!!! I can't beleive you're coming!"

Jamie, quite obviously, was a morning person. He shrugged as Ashlie said something about crawling over the counter and grinned at her when she started to wipe it down. "This is Jenzy!" he said happily.

Ashlie nodded at the girl. "Hullo there," she said. "I'm Ashlie.... obviously." She flushed lightly, and the color deepened as she realized she was embarassed to be shaming herself in the precence of two evelven, twelve year olds, as if they were an adult as her. Oh... she was out of it.
