Articles about girls short-listed from the Luna Lovegood casting call have started to emerge. Recently it was announced that it had been narrowed down to 400 girls.
Jessica Hoggins, 14, from Newport and 15 year old
Laura Scaife from Dunholme are among that number. Both articles include their story and pictures of the aspiring actresses.

She was shortlisted to read from the script and take a screen test.

Laura's stepfather David Hoskins told the Chronicle: "She's been into Harry Potter ever since the first book came out and reads them over and over again.
"She read about the casting call on the internet on Thursday and asked if she could go, and her dad took her down on Saturday morning."
At the call, the children were seen in groups of 50, of which four from each were asked to leave further details, and Laura was among these in her group. She is now waiting for information about the next stage in casting.
