Okay I figured out what to do with it, I split it up.. hope that doesn't make it lose it's oomph.. but we'll see
Chapter 5 : Explanations
Princess Thea woke up in the afternoon in the room of requirement, everybody had fallen asleep after the party had ended somewhere around 7 in the morning. The room had changed into a big dorm room, Girls on one side, Boys on the other and thugs in the middle.
Princess Thea yawed and stretched and looked at her watch, it said 1:15. She sat up with a start. “I have to meet Dumbledore in 15 minutes.” she screeched.
Her high pitched voice woke up everyone else.
“In 15 minutes!” Jack said sitting straight up in his bed, “We gotta go!”
“We?” Princess Thea asked
“Yes, he asked Me, Ottery, Lady V, Lissy, Shannon, Candy and Si to be there too!” He said as he jumped out of his bed and rushed around trying to get people up.
“Hmm I wonder why he wants all of us there.” Princess Thea asked
“I don’t know but we had better get going.” Lady V said as she headed to the door.
“You are right!” Ottery replied yawning.
“Fine let’s move.” Princess Thea said and headed out the door followed by the Angels, Ottery and Jack. They ran down to Dumbledore’s office and stood in front of the door trying to remember the password.
“Does anyone remember it?” Princess Thea asked
“I never knew it.” Jack said shrugging.
“Acid Pops?” Si suggested, but nothing happened
“Lemon drop?” Shannon said but again nothing.
“Bertie’s bott’s every flavor beans?” Candy suggested
“No he hates those remember?” Si hissed
“Oh right!” Candy said
“Fizzing Whizbees?” Lissy asked
“Pepper imps?” Ottery said
“Cockroach cluster?” Princess Thea supplied
“Ohh I remember it!” Lady V said “Chocolate Frogs!” She said and the door opened and they all walked into Dumbledore’s office.
“Thank goodness you remembered that Lady V, or we would have been there all day guessing candies!” Princess Thea said gratefully.
They all trooped into Dumbledore’s office and saw 8 chairs for them to sit down in.
“Come in and sit down.” Dumbledore said as he sat behind his desk. Everyone took seats and waited to hear what he had to say. “First off I would like to explain to Jack what has been happening.”
“What do you mean?” Jack asked puzzled as he shot Princess Thea a look, she just looked at her feet and wouldn’t meet his eyes. She knew this day would come, but to her it felt too soon.
“Well Jack, I’m sure you are probably a bit puzzled by these girls and Ottery.” Dumbledore stated
“Well, yes I kind of am. But what is going on?” Jack asked getting more and more confused by the minute.
“Well these Girls and Ottery are part of a Secret Society, put in place by me and a few other people to keep Harry Potter safe. Most of them are not in school, they are just transfigured to look younger. Most are highly skilled auror’s or healers, Ottery is over a hundred years old. He is in charge of the girls, called Ottery’sAngels.”
Dumbledore paused for a second to see how Jack was taking this in. He just sat there in stunned silence, his expression was of amazement, wonder and hurt all at the same time.“So Princess Thea is not in school?” He asked not looking at her at all. Princess Thea’s heart dropped at bit at that.
“Well she is the exception to the rule. We found her highly skilled for someone of her age, I will explain about her later. When you first got here, they were given a mission by me, to follow you around.” Dumbledore looked over his glasses at Jack
“Follow me? But why?” Jack was dumbfounded by all this information.
“Because of what the sorting hat saw in your head at the beginning of the term.”
“What did it see?” Jack asked a a bit scared
“It saw Princess’s Thea’s kidnapping and you saving her.” Dumbledore replied calmly, but the angels stared at each other speechless, Princess Thea felt like she was about to faint, or slide off the chair and become part of the floor.
Jack was equally stunned “But how did it see that? I didn’t even know about it.”
“Well not consciously you didn’t. You have the gift of prophecy, although you don’t know how to use it very well, which is something we will have to fix in the future.”
“But why did you make us follow him around? Especially me? That was the worst three weeks of my life!” Princess Thea cried out.
“So he would get to know you, and so he would want to save you, if he saw the kidnapping happen, but didn’t know who you were. Chances are you would have died. But I needn’t have worried, for Jack had another secret.” Dumbledore said looking at Princess Thea, Jack meanwhile was squirming in his chair.
