She should have kept herself more conscious of what her friend was doing because suddenly, Fancy heard Felisia say cast the disarming spell on her. Coming back down to reality, she quickly uttered "Protego!". She must have blocked part of Felisia's spell, because her wand didn't fly out her hand as Felisia's had done. She just ended up dropping it.

"Touche, my dear friend. You will pay dearly," Fancy declared. "Expelliarmus!" Fancy yelled, a little more firmly than she had meant to.
