She looked up when the Professor spoke. "Right." She muttered to herself. Her plant had so far only had one leaf turn purple. There was still a lot of the plant left to purplify.

One last element that she hadn't used. Fire. She grinned at the realization. The intensity of the light would cause the effects of the first two elements to multiply, making them stronger, and therefore, enough to turn the plant purple.

But, she remembered a trick that they had used in class last term. She would have to make it darker first before adding the light, to make it all the more stronger.

She took out her wand and swished and flicked it above the plant, all the while muttering the incantation under her breath. A darkness so deep that it was pitch black and none of the plant could be seen fell over the pot and it's contents. She waited for thirty seconds before jerking her wand up, removing the darkness and quickly saying, "Lumos!".

Less than a heartbeat later, the plant was enveloped in bright light, and it was made stronger from the contrast of the darkness. Nabiya held the wand light on the plant for 5 minutes before finally saying, "Nox."

She put her wand down and took off her goggles. When she turned back to the pot, her plant had indeed turned into a beautiful shade of purple. "Fantastic." She said to herself and fingered one of the leaves.

With that done, she took off her gloves and followed the professor's next instructions.
She picked up her quill and dipped it in ink before quickly writing down her observations, her actions and the plant's reactions.
