Merry Christmas everybody! Nothing new, but I did dredge up a Harry-Potterized Christmas carol that I wrote three years ago. To the tune of 'The First Noel', and unfinished. The Boy-Who-Lived The first prophecy, Seer Trelawney said, Was a certain small boy And his future ahead. His future ahead, With Lord Voldemort, Whom he would soon destroy When his life didn’t abort. (Chorus) The Boy-Who-Lived, The Boy-Who-Lived, Thus was the boy who Ended the first war. Then young Harry Potter, Was sent away, To the Dursleys where For ten years he would stay. For ten years he would stay, Knowing not what he’d done, That he had defeated a Dark Lord at age one. (Chorus) Then one day Hagrid came, Telling Harry his past, Telling him the story That left Harry aghast. That left Harry aghast, At the fame he was shown, That he was the savior of a World he’d never known. (Chorus) Then into a new world, Harry Potter did go, Where his true Gryffindor colors Started to show. Gryffindor colors started to show, Bravery to the core, As he faced and overcame The Dark Lord once more. (Chorus) A new threat arrived, Taking one of Harry’s friends, A time where many students Nearly met their ends. Nearly met their ends, Almost shutting Hogwarts down, But then Harry beat Tom Riddle In yet another round. (Chorus) The second prophecy, Seer Trelawney said, Was an escaped convict And a rat presumed dead. A rat presumed dead, Who killed Harry’s mum and dad, Who betrayed the light side Cause he was secretly bad. (Chorus)
*cough* Heh. Um... don't flame?
