 The Potion Scholar's Encyclopedia of Ingredients
ooc: This is an incomplete list of ingredients and their properties that have been used or mentioned in the potions class on SnitchSeeker.com. This list was compiled by Biochemkris and the information listed came from the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling, Cunningham’s Guide to Magical Herbs, various websites, and the imaginations of Biochemkris and her characters’ students.
Over the course of six terms teaching in the SS Hogwarts School RPG I’ve accumulated a lot of notes. My intention in ‘publishing’ this ‘textbook’ is not to overwhelm or discourage you in your study of potions but, to aid you. It also helps me when planning out lessons to have a reference of what I’ve already taught, said, and done in order to avoid contradicting myself. |
