My Best Friend

A helping hand
in a time of need
a shoulder to cry on
when the world is full of greed.

You're my best friend
what would I do without you?
You help me through the bad times
and through the good ones too.

You lend me a smile
when all I have are frowns
You help me through
All of my ups and downs.
You're my best friend.

It's almost like a fairytale
it's happening, but it doesn't feel true
a moment when the world stops
and all i see is you.

It's like a smile
in a world of frowns
A circle of life
that has it's ups and downs.

And then you fade away
Away from existence, away from pain.
You are no more to hold
and it feels like I'm going insane.
