Here is something short and sweet! There will be more drama later! heheh


Back in the Gryffindor common room Princess Thea and Jack were sitting by the fire.

Princess Thea had finally calmed down and was enjoying sitting next to Jack, Her head on his shoulder. He smelled good too, a mix of aftershave and soap. Princess Thea inhaled deeply and smiled.

“You feeling better?” Jack asked as he stroked the top of her head

“Yes I’m feeling much better, thanks you for being so great. I’m sorry that you had to see me like that.” She said as she sat up to look at him

“It’s okay Thea, really. I’m glad you trust me enough to cry in front of me! I just wish I knew what was wrong and how I could make it better.” He said as he looked down at her

“I do too Jack, I do too.” She snuggled back up against him and wished she could tell him what was wrong, that he was the problem. That he might want to kill someone and that it was tearing her apart. They sat there for a long time for a long time like that, Princess Thea’s head against Jacks shoulder and his arms around her. They didn’t speak, each was busy with their own thoughts, but it was a companionable silence and ever now and then Jack would kiss the top of Princess Thea’s head. Princess Thea wished this time would never end, that she wouldn’t have to leave and face Ottery and the Angels at the meeting.

“Are you going to be late for potions?” Princess Thea asked

Jack looked at his watch “Oh my goodness I am! Are you going to be okay? I can take Snape’s wrath if you want me to stay with you.” He smiled and she went weak in the knees

“Thanks but I think I’ll be okay, I have to get to charms anyway.” She replied as he helped her to her feet.

“Great I’ll walk you!” He took her arm and they walked to her charms lesson, “I’ll see you tonight at 7!” He said as he took off down the hall.

“Wait, 7?” Princess Thea asked as Jack stopped and spun around

“Yes 7, Ottery said we could use the room of requirement.” Jack answered starting back off down the hall.

“Ottery said? Okay I’ll see you then!” She was a bit confused that Ottery said it, Oh well maybe the meeting was cancelled. She took out a mirror and put her features back in order. She had been so happy, that not only her eyes but her hair was now a bright purple. “This has got to stop before I get expelled for purple robes!” She exclaimed shaking her head and walking into charms.
