The Betrayal
It's not quite so funny how the body can fool the mind into such high expectations.
After so many vile times of betrayal, the mind and heart begin to wither like an object in the whispering dessert.
And now comes the fear,
the fear that the lonely withering heart will never become whole again.
After the long dismal period of fear melts away, then comes the traumatizing periods of the what ifs and denial.
These are the worst periods because they never melt away or disappear5...they linger there always pondering, always questioning, "What is wrong with me?"
