He grinned at the mirror, if only James could be here now… This thought quickly caused the smile to fade, he’d have to stop thinking like that. It was still, even after so many years, too painful.

The Great Hall seemed much brighter in comparison to the Entrance Hall. The hundreds of floating candles set off a merry glow and the enchanted ceiling above glittered with starlight. The air buzzed with hundreds of voices and carried the scent of the feast that was to come.
Wonderful description.

**Footnote: Regarding Sirius and his talent for accents. I'll start off by saying that I am ignorent of English accents (Ally I'm sure can enlighten me), however I am aware that people from different regions speak a little differently. For us Americans, it's not unlike how we can tell the difference between a Texan and a New Yorker. At the Phelps twins Q&A session (and I totally forgot to tell Emma about this one - so you got the scoop here!), James talked about how on the POA set, Gary Oldman would walk around the set in his Sirius costume and amuse them by putting on different English accents. I thought, "good for me, because I'm about to give his younger counterpart the same talent." I just thought I'd share!
lol I know what you mean, its difficult to tell the different american accents appart. Thanks for the scoop! Gary Oldmen is brilliant at putting accents on (as you can tell from his different films).
