wow... it's been like 3 weeks since my last poem!! Sorry, but I've just been busy at work, (and going out hehe) and no time to write poems. I've had so many that I just thought of, but of course, not having a pen/paper handy, eventually they went away. Let me write a quickie 'heartbreak' poem, to see if I'm getting rusty yet. I'm just sort of winging it, so sorry if it's a little corny...

Eyes blurry with tears
Wiping make up as it smears
My heart is sobbing here
And I don't care who will hear.

I wasn't ready to find
That my heart's gone blind,
Let this be the last time
That I claim you to be mine.

I gave my all to you
Did everything I could do
Still, you thought it was untrue
You left and took your love with you.

What I am thankful for
As I watched you walk out the door
I learned to love myself even more
Something I should have done before.

Thank you for making me see

Thanks to you, I am now free.....
