Nice prediction! Lol not quite what is going to happen though...
Chapter 13
Harry raced down to breakfast the next morning looking as good as he could with his untamable hair. He sprinted to the open seat next to Ginny and sat down. “Ginny,” he said, as she stopped eating her toast and looked at him, “I have a business proposition for you.”
“I’m listening”
“You like Malfoy, right?”
Ginny blushed. “Yes.”
“And I like Hermione.”
“Really?”
“Yes. But Hermione is going out with Malfoy.”
Ginny scowled. “I know.”
“Ok, here’s my idea: We pretend to go out, make them jealous, they’ll break up, I’ll get Hermione and you’ll get Malfoy.”
Ginny thought for a minute. “What if it doesn’t work?”
Harry sighed. “That’s the thinking that won’t make it work!”
Ginny smiled and said “Ok.” Then she went back to eating her toast while Harry walked away as though nothing had happened.
*meanwhile*
Hermione woke up in Draco’s arms and sighed contentedly. She brushed a piece of his hair off his forehead, then buried her head in his neck where she could smell his cologne. She breathed in and the smell of his cologne filled her nose, leaving her wishing he would wake up and kiss her.
Draco rolled over and sighed, opening his eyes. Hermione smiled. “Good morning.” Draco looked over at her and grinned. “Hello.” He kissed her, rolling back over so he was holding her again. When he pulled away, Hermione pulled his head back for more. Draco finally pulled back, saying “We have to get down to breakfast.”
Hermione nodded and climbed out of bed. “I have to take a shower,” she said, heading for the bathroom with towel in hand. “I’ll come with you,” Draco offered, slipping his hand around her waist. “I’ll get it done much faster if you’re not there with me,” she grinned, pulling out of his grasp. “Maybe later though…” she smiled. Draco grinned back and headed to his own bathroom to take a shower.
When Draco and Hermione finally got down to breakfast, everyone was getting up and leaving the Great Hall after finishing their meal. Ginny and Harry walked by Draco and Hermione, Harry with his arm around Ginny’s shoulders. Hermione glanced at them, thinking “Harry and Ginny are finally together! After all these years! Oh, I’m so happy for them!” Draco noticed them, but didn’t saying anything, thinking “I thought I heard that Ginny liked me…Oh well. I have Hermione now.” Ginny and Harry both thought as they walked by, “Look casual, look in love, look like you don’t care.”
When Harry and Ginny got out of view of Draco and Hermione, they quickly
let go of each other. Harry watched Draco’s retreating back, thinking of all the reasons he hated him. Ginny watched Hermione’s hair bob up and down as she walked, imagining what it would be like to be Draco’s girlfriend.
I would have posted chapter 14 too, but its really long so that'll be the next post!
