Edie Vablatsky woke up on the floor of her the guest bedroom in her cousin Lena's small house just outside of Hogsmeade village. She looked around. Why was she on the floor? Oh. She had fallen off the bed during the night... again.
She stood up and waved her wand at the blankets tangled on the floor, sending them neatly onto the bed. She showered, dressed, and ate a quick breakfast. Her things were already at Hogwarts, so she could leave whenever.
Edie scribbled a small note to Lena on a piece of spare parchment, and stuck it on the kitchen table.
She stepped out into the sunlight and walked towards the entrace gates of Hogwarts. She actually enjoyed these first days back. When the castle was empty with only the teachers occupying it. Once inside the Hogwarts grounds, she decided to lay by the lake for a few minutes and clear her mind....
