Lol yes I read it. I never thought of my poems as being sad, lol. But I guess that's just because even though the ideas I'm writing about are sad things, I've always thought of the poems themselves as being meant to turn those things around. Um...here:

The following is direct from my notebook.

In poem, sonnet, and in song,
the great Bards of the language have tried so long
to put into the prison of rhythm and rhyme
the sweetness of love and loss in due time
but faint are those words in comparison to
the glow of one thing so deep and so true
In bloom, a blossom so sweet and so fair
One might be moved to take too much care
to spoil the fragile blossom so
in faintest weather it ceases to grow
when it wilts, the view is more beautiful still
that be you a novice or one with great skill
it burns to the core at the mem'ry of things lost
you forget for a moment that this is the cost
of free will, and that this thing is love

I don't know where that came from. I've never been in a relationship. And I've never (truly) been in love. Unless you call fanaticism and celebrity obsession in the worst way, love. I certainly don't. I had the first two liness in my head and I decided to put my foot down and actually write the good things that come to my head for once. It seems like I write often, but not nearly often enough. Most of the stuff that's actually written down is crap anyway. It's just a product of a bored and overactive mind.
