I always loved the Little House Books when I was a kid. I have an example of HP being taken seriously as literature too. A few years a go when I was in nursing school, I was in the college bookshop buying my text books when I saw a HUGE stack of Sorceror's Stone. I went to investigate and saw that it was required reading for one of the English classes. I wished I hadn't already taken that class!
