Jaren sat down at the back of the class, not at all surprised to see the new teacher. Apparently he and his fellow prefects would have to make an announcement to their Houses asap...but anyway. He pulled out a quill and parchment, and sat back in his seat quietly, regarding the new teacher with indifferent eyes. Noting the Ravenclaw next to him asking about the Headmaster's wherebouts, Jaren muttered a response to him under his breath without looking at the boy.

"Temporarily on leave. He'll be back."
